Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

By downloading or using ScriptDraft ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

ScriptDraft is an AI-assisted screenplay writing tool for iOS and Android. It lets you record, transcribe, and format screenplays using on-device and cloud AI features.

Your content

Your scripts belong to you. Everything you write in ScriptDraft — scenes, characters, dialogue — is your intellectual property. We make no claim on your creative work.

When you use AI features (script generation, translation), you input text into Google Gemini. Please review Google's terms regarding AI-generated content ownership.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use ScriptDraft to:

Subscriptions and payments

ScriptDraft offers optional paid plans ("Pro" and "Pro+") through Apple App Store and Google Play in-app purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google — ScriptDraft does not handle payment details.

AI-generated content

AI-generated screenplay content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI output before use. ScriptDraft makes no warranty about the quality or originality of AI-generated text.

Availability

We aim for the app to be reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features depend on third-party APIs (Google Gemini) which may have downtime or rate limits.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptDraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
